 Sexual violence in higher secondary education schools represents an alarming problem that seriously affects the security, well -being and integral development of students and educational communities. This article examines, from an interdisciplinary approach, the operational limitations faced by school institutions by managing these cases. Critical obstacles are identified, such as the combination between the superior law of adolescents to education and safeguard victims and their families. Likewise, the consequences of inaction or late intervention are analyzed, which perpetuate impunity and deteriorate confidence in the school environment.

 Among the proposals that raise to overcome the operational limitations faced by schools are: the improvement in the implementation of prevention and action protocols; the training and awareness of educational personnel; integral education in sexuality and consent; Strengthening of the bond with families and community; creation of safe and confidential spaces; monitoring and continuous evaluation; and promotion of culture of zero tolerance to violence
